I work hard, and I’ve got a lot of capacity, but I get excited and try all sorts of things.  If I were a baseball player, I’d be the guy swinging at wild pitches.  If I were a dog in a YouTube video, I’d be the pomeranian trying to screw the great dane.

The first few times I was warned of the dangers of coordinated, multi-person snatch-and-grab attacks by teams of predatory motorcyclists, I assumed the Vietnamese person telling me was simply crazy. A fringe lunatic in an otherwise reasonable society. Not so.

I’m Jesse – longtime coder, writer, traveler, troublemaker.  I like to look for problems and think my way around them, both in technology and life in general.  I was 22 when I first escaped a small-town office, fled to the big city, and started seeing what I could get away with in terms of increased freedom, earnings, and adventure.
